SEO Specialists and Content Writing





Needless to say, I have read thousands of written works, be it articles, books and or regular publications on or about search engine optimization. There are a millions different views and ideas on the proper procedures to follow by SEO specialists. There came a point in all this gathering of information when I was trying to make a determination on who was correct and who was not. The final determination was that everyone was correct to a certain extent.

All SEO Specialists, good, bad, or indifferent understand that the content on the web page they are attempting to raise in the serps must be deemed relevant by Google. Yahoo and Bing rate a little differently but that we will cover that in other articles. Some SEO Specialists will go as far as claiming that the crawlers can not understand the concept or idea of the written content. To this I say, “bunk.”

Sit back and think about it. Do a search for a certain keyword and read the description under the title on the listing. There are parts and pieces of the content of the page in the description. Many times these descriptions show controversial or humorous sections of the text in the content of the page. So if you feel that Google does not know or does not care what is in the content of your page you are dead wrong.

Google must put its best foot forward when displaying search results to millions of people or they will not come back the next time. The major search engines want quality content that is not only interesting to the searcher, they want quality writing. If you think as SEO Specialists you can get away with improper grammar and spelling errors check with many of the article posting sites. These people know that spelling and grammar count and they want quality work as much as Google. It is tough getting articles published in many article submission sites because they have a trust developed relationship with Google and intend to keep it.

It becomes difficult after a tough day of writing content. The ideas and creativity dry up. Thoughts begin to wonder off. SEO Specialists have to remember that the content they produce either for articles or on page text will at one time or another be seen be millions of people. Google and your client is banking on the fact that your content will be relevant or you will be back on page 22 in the serps if it is not. There are three reputations on the line when you take on an SEO client. You, your client and Google. It would be best to never forget that.
